Secondeur Prototype, doing business as Prototype Academy, a Prototype Sports Group program based in Montréal, QC (“Prototype Academy”, “we”, “us”), operates linebackerprototype.com and related pages. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us through our forms, chat widget, booking calendar, phone calls or text messages: parent/guardian name, athlete name, phone number, email, grade, position, location, and answers you provide about the athlete’s goals and development. We also collect standard website usage data (pages visited, device and browser type, referral source and campaign parameters) through cookies and analytics and advertising tools such as the Meta Pixel.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and schedule evaluation calls.
- To send appointment confirmations, reminders and program updates.
- To deliver training services to enrolled athletes.
- To improve our website, programs and advertising.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, Prototype Academy may send you text messages about your inquiry, evaluation appointments, reminders and program updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. This excludes service providers that deliver messages on our behalf (such as our messaging platform and carriers), who may use the data only to provide that service.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business (CRM, scheduling, messaging, payment processing, video conferencing and analytics), under obligations to protect it, or when required by law.
Athletes under 18
Our programs serve high-school athletes. When an inquiry concerns an athlete under 18, we ask a parent or legal guardian to submit it and consent to the collection of the athlete’s information.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and use reasonable safeguards to protect it.
Your choices
You can opt out of texts by replying STOP, unsubscribe from email using the link in any email, and ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing info@linebackerprototype.com.
